Product Description
Introducing the third piece in my "Flutterby" embroidery series, a delicate and detailed creation inspired by the beauty of fantasy butterflies. This artwork is meticulously hand-stitched using a combination of thread painting and goldwork techniques on a sheer bridal organza background, giving the butterfly the effect of floating in the frame. The vibrant shades of blue and purple bring the wings to life, while shimmering sequins and silver smooth purl wire (stretched out to give a glittering effect) enhance the design with added texture and elegance.
The Flutterby series was born out of a desire to explore the whimsical and otherworldly nature of butterflies, each piece crafted to reflect different themes and moods. With this series, I aim to create a collection of fantasy butterflies, each one unique in its colours, materials, and style - combining my love for thread painting and intricate embellishment to bring these winged creatures to life.
This piece would make a beautiful statement in any home or as part of an art collection, perfect for lovers of detailed needlework, fantasy themes, and those seeking a one-of-a-kind embroidered artwork.
